Beetle with Small Horns - Phileurus truncatus

Beetle with Small Horns - Phileurus truncatus
Ft. Mc Clellan, Alabama, USA
July 23, 2005
Size: > 41mm
This was the Biggest Beetle that I have ever seen. Larger then a Silver Dollar in size.
Male or Female I am not sure.

Did you mean greater than 41mm? A penny is bigger than 14mm. (It's 19mm.) A silver dollar would be at least twice the diameter of a penny. The beetle in the photo link is 37mm.

Thank You for spotting that and yes it was supposed to be 41. Now I just need to figure out how to move it from ID Request to the correct spot.
