digrammia - Digrammia excurvata

digrammia - Digrammia excurvata
Long Beach, Los Angeles County, California, USA
April 3, 2009
Size: 25mm wingspan
My first photo on BugGuide was a Digrammia sp., which Bob Patterson said looks like D. excurvata... in the four months since then, I have photographed 10+ similar individuals, all found at the same location, all with a great degree of variation of the curvature on lines on the wings. Hopefully this shot is atleast a little better than my january post - I've been photographing insects for only a little more than 4 months now, so I'd like to think my skills have improved atleast a little.
