I suddenly thought to take a look at Michener's key (of which I should make more frequent practice). Now I don't have to be puzzled about the two submarginal cells: p.246 (2007 ed.), couplet 45 "Submarginal cells two; tibial scopal hairs largely simple..." leads to 46 "Integument often metallic blue or blue-green; propodeum; propodeum outside of triangle roughened by punctures..........A. (Diandrena)(in part)"
Sorry for putting all of this here, but it helped me to think about it.
