Termites in PA - Reticulitermes flavipes
Perry County, Pennsylvania, USA

Size: 5 mm
I was not aware that we had termites in PA. I've certainly never seen any before

These were found in a group of about 15 or so underneath tree bark. They varied somewhat in size, but most were around 5 mm

Reticulitermes flavipes…
Eastern subterranean termite workers.
