Thanks for putting me on the right track, Eric. It appears to be of same genus, very similar to this soldier beetle in the guide,
Trypherus sp. Tip of abdomen is different (gender issue?).
Perhaps Stephen, who did the original reasearch can help.

Soldier Beetle.
This is the best image of this insect (family Cantharidae) I have ever seen. Nice work:-) Now, if I could only remember the genus....
