Did you keep it?
I have some similar larvae in a container waiting to see if they pupate, etc. I covered them with some litter and put a nylon stocking on top to prevent them from escaping.

As I recall, I found it while looking for termites to photo and just covered it back up after getting a couple of pics. I have reared a couple monarch butterflies and that's about the extent of it, so far anyway.

genus spelling
Is there more than one way to spell this genus? I ran across this spelling as well - Neopyrochroa.
