after time with D&A's key to the genus, and some time brousing the MCZ, I vote for C. omissus Fall. Looks to be a great match to the MCZ type - elytra color and setae/scales, depressions down middle of pronotum and associated white scales, heavy scaling on venter, and slightly (not heavy) whiter scales around scutellum.

The one issue is that the D&A key appears to require "claws with basal tooth", but despite considerable effort under the scope, I can not see any toothed claws (multiple specimens examined). The MCZ type really only shows one set of claws. But the same key couplet also requires several other species to have toothed claws, including C. pauxillus Dietz, whose type is also found at MCZ. You can see several sets of claws fairly well on this type, and I can't see any teeth here either. So perhaps this is another D&A inaccuracy?
