Orange Syrph - Teuchocnemis bacuntius - Female

Size: 22mm-24mm
For some gestalt reason I think this is something close to Myolepta but I don't know which species this is. Striking red-orange things and very wary in the pine woods.

That is the one. I thought the Strickland's had photographed one and then I could not find it. This had not been listed for AR for some reason.
