Cut-away of a goldenrod gall, previously occupied by a Goldenrod Gall Fly larva which the Eurytomid wasp had killed. Note the dark fecal material produced by the wasp larva, the remains of the fly larva (orange frass), and the neat exit tunnel chewed by the adult.
