Whoa! Looks like something special.
A wild guess would be some sort of syrphid (hover fly), mainly because of the eyes. Hopefully, you'll get an expert's take on this one.

 
Physiphora?
No it is not a syrphid (note wing venation). The only other possibility I could think of is Physiphora (note also white fore basitarsus!).

 
Syrphid
was my guess also, but Physiphora looks like a match. Thanks
