My first thought
was Acartophthalmus (the only member of Acartophthalmidae). This would be a new one for Bugguide. Unfortunately, the
wing venation
does not line up. There also seems to be a proclinate orbital bristle (all reclinate in Acartophthalmus), and the arista seems to have branches (simple in Acartophthalmus). My second guess is Drosophila, which shows up on carrion quite regularly as well.
