Sphaerocerid - S. ochripes - Spelobia ochripes
York Region, Ontario, Canada
Spelobia ochripes (Meigen, 1830). Collected from leaf litter. This introduced species is readily identifiable as it is the only Spelobia with red patches on the head.
Specimen identified from Marshall(1), confirmed by S.A. Marshall.
