The broken shoulder stripe occurs occasionally in Eastern. You don't happen to have a shot from above do you?

Hi Jason,
I'll have to do some digging. Not sure if I got a top down. Are there any other likely candidates that you know of? If it helps, this was a very petite damselfly, maybe only a couple inches long. I didn't put in a measurement because it's off of memory which isn't entirely accurate. Thanks for the help and input.

I wasn't questioning the ID, I just thought the broken stripe was a bit more extreme than usual (at least for Easterns that don't have a broken stripe).


shoulder stripe ?
Are you referring to the broken green "shoulder" stripe on the thorax? I just wanted to make sure I was following. I see how top down helps with that.
