How accurately do you know the spacing of the wires in the screen?

 
Just measured it
My ruler is in 1 mm increments, so I had to interpolate the decimal, but it looks like 1.6 mm from center of rung to center of rung.

 
Interpolation
You can measure 10 rungs and divide by 10. Or is that what you meant by interpolate?

 
Good point
My first attempt was to measure the distance across a single cell from rung to rung. Good idea to measure ten cells at once! That gives a measurement of 15 mm per 10 cells, so 1.5 mm per cell.
