Found at 11:00 at night, moving VERY slowly up a garage door. Multiple females in the area, although none that I could photograph

This looks more like
Psorophora ciliata
or
howardii
. It looks like it might have a median golden stripe on mesonotum, so it is likely
Psorophora ciliata
. The erect black scales on the hindlegs are distinctive for the subgenus
Psorophora
in the USA. Great shot!
