Coccinellid pupa
likely a "lady bird" beetle pupa.
for comparison. No idea on species.

 
This one's fairly easy to get to species. (It's the exception.)
Harmonia axyridis. Note the little "stars" peaking out from underneath.


Color is highly variable on this exotic species.
