Spider - Scytodes atlacoya - Male

We need help on this one. Christopher Hunt suggests this is a female and that the body shape would indicate this specimen is a member the orb-weavers family (Araneidae), but that's no more than a best guess... (Araneidae is a huge family!) Christopher would also guess Araneus, but again, that's just a guess (based on the lack of setae (hair), since there little to none visible) and the large abdomen with the speckled patterns. These characteristics are commonly present in this genus, but they are not exclusive to them...)

Can anyone help us pin down and ID?

Oops, wrong photo associated with my ID...
I had ID'd this as a female(?) spitting spider.... however, tried to make a guess (as described above) as to this unknown spider.

I think
it is a male because of the long legs and pointed palps. Male spitting spiders have very slender palps.
