Size: scale bar = 1 mm
Unknown Nitidulid. Note very small size. Found on robust gilled mushroom (host = Paxillus atrotomentosus).

yes; has to be Stelidota octomaculata
yours are very good pictures, and i'm so glad you joined BG.
pls consider orienting dorsal and ventral views 'head to the north' (upright) -- to facilitate comparison (i have absolutely no clue why they choose to flip everything head west in MCZ dbase -- i guess, just because of screen shape)
