Some kind of fishing spider? -
Dolomedes triton
Carefree/seven springs camp site, Maricopa County, Arizona, USA
June 15, 2008
Size: about 3" from leg to leg
I believe this is some kind of fishing spider. It was on the water of a stream. Would like to know exactly what it is.

Yes.
Neat find! Wish I find one down here in Tucson....I believe this is
Dolomedes triton
, as it can be quite variable, at least with age (this one might be a sub-adult still).
