Size: 12-14 mm
I found a third photo of this individual today. The full-size image shows fine hairs sticking out along the shadowed side of the pronotum. Is this the layer of hair on the pronotum of Typocerus acuticauda that Patrick mentioned in an earlier message on this page?

You've got me...
These are tough--I've got several photos of things that could be T. deceptus, acuticauda, or velutina (weakly marked). I can't see the characters Yanega (1) mentions, even in the hand.
