Attracted to light, very fast, almost lost him before I could capture it for the photo. I hope my ID is correct, comments welcomed.

Calleida viridipennis
is a reasonably good choice for this species that is known throughout eastern USA including the far southeast. Image fits well my one reference specimen. Compare to closest other:
C. purpurea
. Keep up the nice perpendicular dorsal shots which help most for carabid identification.
