This individual seemed to have a very prominent pygidium, notable here. Now that I look at it, looks rather more like the form of the male abdomen in this photo:
The male in that photo has a pygidium that is almost at a right angle to the elytra. The pygidium of the female looks to have more of a sloped appearance, say 45 degrees to the elytra, and to be less prominent.
