I browsed the armyworms and couldn't find an exact match and also the size didn't seem to match up, this one was pretty big, i would say close to a monarch cat size.

Hi Tracy,
I think you've got a cutworm there of some type. If you don't hear from an expert on it, I'd poke around the pics in that category to see if you find a match.
