I am glad we got this
finally straightened out and that Bill and my conversation on FB got your attention. I went back today to the place where I saw them so early this year, I wanted to get a nice series - but the weather had changed and there were none. All I got was a work-out.
Thank you for your help, Richard

Such nice images, but no one has commented yet... Moving to genus page and hoping we wrangle a buprestid expert some time soon!

Bup experts

matching users
Actually it's fairly easy to find who specializes in what. A lot of the experts mention in their Guide profile what their favorite groups are. If you use the Guide Search window, when the results come up, scroll down past all of the matching images, pages, and comments, and just above the bottom you will usually find a heading "matching users".

Some time ago, I've send this reference here
to several of the people mentioned above, and Denis Haines, who has been most helpful with several other Bups. This particular one has not generated any results

Bup expert
Well, finally someone sent this image to me! Really, I don't have time to scour for them..and my forgetfulness does not help either. So, when you post a bup, maybe let me know....?
Okay, that said..let me put the image where it belongs (no, I am not going to frass it!).
