Nice job, Ron. These are the first images of this species from California. (And might I add, appropriately photographed on your characteristic yellow flower of course!)

That flower is an institution in Orange County. It's known as Studio Randi.

Added 7-27-2015 -- It was named for two of my heroes: magic-debunker The Amazing Randi and Randi Peshkin, a foremost fused glass artist and teacher who operated Black Cat Studio in SoCal.

Details were at #102360, but that post was apparently removed.
