A Nemotarsus species new to North America
and worthy of publication if not already done. A 1977 catalog by Erwin et al cites range Mexico & Guatemala for N. rhombifer. Still not given North American status in the 1993 catalog by Bousquet & Larochelle.

New U.S. records...
Peter,

Ed Riley along with Brian Raber (and others) have been conducting intensive beetle surveys in southmost and east Texas among other regions.

Ed is in contact with Yves Bousquet to ensure that all new U.S. and Texas carabid records are included in the re-make of the North American carabid catalogue.

Excellent!
I'm glad new Texas carabid records are finding their way to Yves Bousquet. I too have been supplying Yves with various state records for an eagerly anticipated revision of his catalogue of North American Carabidae.
