Oak Treehopper - Platycotis vittata
Mobile (Dog-River), Mobile County, Alabama, USA
April 29, 2009
One of the coolest color patterns I've seen yet.

Platycotis vittata
One of many color forms.

HopingTo Find
I have been looking forward to finding a white & red Platycotis vittata with the thorn-like horn. Might I assume that all mine would be genetically linked and look like this specimen?

That is a nice one, Robert.
Sort of a deco/leaded glass look, I'd say.

FLW
Frank Lloyd Wright, fer shure.
