I'll be interested in finding
I'll be interested in finding out the ID of this one as well, they just started showing up around here within the last month or so. I have it tentatively ID'd in my records as a damsel bug, but my photos are too embarassingly bad to post here so I am going to have to live vicariously through your photos for now.

C'mon along!
I think you've nailed it. The bug looked familiar to me, but I've only seen it on posts and not many at that. Nabis looks like an excellent candidate, but this post is nice and fresh so we'll see what comments others may have.
Now the lecture/pep talk:
Hey, Chris, post those bad shots. You may have something no one else does. (It's happened to me several times.) Don't apologize, either; the people who matter know how tough this is. Meow!

I would agree...

Nabis
does indeed look good. I suspect that an expert will confirm Damsel Bug sometime soon -- Nice call, Chris!
I probably needed to hear Ron's pep talk too... I am so in awe of the quality of many of the photographs on this site that I am often reluctant to post some of my stuff. But, Ron is right -- what a shame if we are not sharing some wonderful new species simply because we don't have the perfect shot!
