Sminthurides sp.
Female specimen.
The males are about halve the size of the females and have modified 'clasping antennae' with which they can grab the bases of the antennae of a female. Look for such head-a-head connected couples in a population. You will also find interconnected males... Apparently the males of Sminthurides are near-sighted or need a lot of grabbing practice ;-)
