I haven't seen these in the park in almost three years. Shot this one in nearly the same place as my original post, i.e. just down the trail from the butterfly garden.

They have a very streamlined look and are fairly approachable.
Finding these was a matter of luck. There happened to be a lot of grasshoppers out today, and this happened to be one of them, though it did stand out.
