Cecropia Moth. - Hyalophora cecropia - Female

Size: wingspan approx. 15.5 cm.
Hopefully one of these eggs will eventually become an adult Cecropia Moth, but realistically I guess the odds are against it.
Oh well, we can always hope.

Eggs
Last year I hatched a few then transplanted them to a maple in my backyard. I never saw a full grown caterpillar or adult so I think they may have been eaten. But you could try the same. A full list of host plants can be found at the info on here.
