Abstract: Five genera of aquatic beetles are reported from Texas, USA, for the first time. Species recorded include

Suphis inflatus (Noteridae),
Hoperius planatus (Dytiscidae),
Dibolocelus ovatus,
Hydrobiomorpha casta and
Sperchopsis tessellata (Hydrophilidae).

Habitat notes are reported for 4 of these.
