Huge spider - Hogna? -
Tigrosa
Occoquan Bay Wildlife Refuge, Prince William County, Virginia, USA

Size: large - 4 - 6"
This spider was so big that I saw it while driving my car, and stopped to take its picture.

Now that's a big spider!
Not many spiders can stop a car! :) Anyway, measurement is really taken by just the body. The largest wolf spiders have a body length of about an inch, so I'm assuming that's what this one is. Sorry, I'm not very good at IDing the wolf spiders.
