This spider was so big that I saw it while driving my car, and stopped to take its picture.

Some species of Hogna were moved to a new genus, Tigrosa.

Now that's a big spider!
Not many spiders can stop a car! :) Anyway, measurement is really taken by just the body. The largest wolf spiders have a body length of about an inch, so I'm assuming that's what this one is. Sorry, I'm not very good at IDing the wolf spiders.
