Archodontes melanopus
Similar to Mallodon, but the lateral view clearly shows the mandibles pointing downward, not projecting forward.

It kept them pointing down the whole time I was there, the only time I seen them outward was when he landed, I don't know if he was attacking the carpet, or grabbing it to stop itself.
