midge - Male
Cross Plains, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA

Size: ~4-5mm

Moved
Moved from Midges. Maybe near Metriocnemus.

Not sure
Size?

I'm not sure what kind. They like to curl their tails up so they are out of focus or at the wrong angle, but that's where a lot of the identifying information is. Another angle on the tail or front legs might help.

This midge didn't wait around
This midge didn't wait around to have any further photos taken. I'll keep looking though.
