Orb web over water

Orb web over water
John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, USA
May 10, 2009
There is a foot bridge that goes over a fresh water pond/marsh. The bridge zig-zags across the water. These webs were all over the place. This one is horizontal with the water. They were maybe a foot or two big. I couldn't find any spiders, must be under the bridge or tucked in between boards. Is there any way to tell even family?

For FRASS.

Tetragnathidae
Horizontal to inclined orb webs over water with an open hub are characteristic of certain Tetragnatha spp.

Frass
I had planned to frass when I posted, but what do you think?

Might as well keep it
I don't know offhand if there are any good images of whole tetragnathid webs already in the guide--I don't remember seeing any--but this is certainly a good illustration of what one looks like. Probably best placed at family level, despite the likelihood that it's a Tetragnatha.
