ID request!
I posted it as an update to the data page for Florida in May!!!!
Who does that, and/or how is it done? This photo already shows up
on the species page, so, I do not know why it still in ID request.
I have not had any success moving photo's, but if it causes so much
confusion, I will gladly attempt to do again.

I posted it as an update to the data page for Florida in May!!!!
Who does that, and/or how is it done? I have not had any success
moving any photo's to any other page. I will gladly give it another
try, especially if it bothers you or causes confusion.

images/data points
Very well, thank you. I must have been doing something wrong. As to
the question of data point entries/updates, who does it, and how is that done, and
secondly, since the image in question is already on the species page, does it
need to be moved again to remove it from ID Request? If it is deleted,
or moved from ID to Frass, does that also remove it from the species page?

i can't answer about data points
[never cared one bit about having them at all]
but i'm sure that deleted/frassed images leave no trace anywhere in the guide, as they'd never existed. and whatever is moved from ID Request is no longer in ID Request, naturally.

Data points
The internet, and hard paper literature is replete w/lists of
scientific names of species of almost every living thing that are
found in various states, provinces, regions, etc. When a layman
seeks information on something they have found, and a source indicates
that what they are looking at has been previously observed in their
area, it provides them w/information that helps their interest. Since
BGN has elected to routinely provide a data page for each family,
genus, species, etc., then when a newbe begining collector like me
see that his image/collection adds to a data base, it makes it seem
like a contribution, whether you agree with it or not. Therefore, my
question still remains, how is that data point added to BGN system?
