Yellow Slant-line Moth - Tetracis crocallata

Yellow Slant-line Moth - Tetracis crocallata
Pickens County, Georgia, USA
May 8, 2009
Size: wingspan approx. 35 mm.
Actually this one is more of a buff than pure yellow, nicely speckled with brown.
Apparently, this is a summer brood specimen, since the forewing pm line continues
onto the hindwing (Covell).
Found at porch light.

Thank you for any comments on the ID of this moth.

Yes…
You have this ID'd correctly. They are attracted to lights.

Good deal!
Thanks Ross. I'm pretty new to moths, so I just look through images on MPG and BG and take a stab at it. Sometimes I get lucky with the ID. Fortunately, there are at least a few moths that aren't too difficult. I really appreciate people with experience like yourself who take the time to help out with the IDs.
