Tulip-tree Beauty - Hodges#6599 - Epimecis hortaria - Male
Marlton, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA

Sorry for the poor image, the moth was on the wrong side of a window, trapped between the blinds and the glass. I got it out after the shots, but let it go rather than chill it.
Variation of Epimecis hortaria (Tulip-tree Beauty - Hodges#6599) ???

???
Isn't it too soon to frass this? I know that this species is fairly well represented already; but one could argue that there aren't any images for NJ for this month (not that it matters to me). It wouldn't do any harm to keep it a little longer in my opinion. Housecleaning would be more effective if frassers chose to go through old images. For instance, there are gazillions of honey bees, Asiatic lady beetles, monarchs, just to name a few, that deserve frassing more thant this one.

OK
I can keep for now. I tend to be overly critical of my own images when deciding what to put in the guide.

Yes, Tulip-tree Beauty - 6599
...fairly typical. (no rsvp, thanks)
