Assassin Bug (Wheel Bug)
This is certainly a young assassin bug and he's a little older than the baby ones. I have photos of the baby ones on my Flickr page from last year and I called him a red butted ant!! LOL LOL He looked like a cartoon ant with his back end completely, bright red and then the elephant trunk in the front! I kept photos of his changes up until his wheel started and then we had a huge storm (remenants of a hurricane) and he was blown away! We are in GA. Keep an eye on this one if you can, because the changes are so cool!!!
