brown recluse ? - Loxosceles

brown recluse ? - Loxosceles
Marion, Crittenden County, Arkansas, USA
May 15, 2009
Size: 2"
Big spider crawling on the wall. I'm sure afraid it's a brown recluse.
Can anyone please confirm?

I can't tell it might be Southern House Spider.
If you could get a better photo showing this view...

Southern House Spiders have a different eye arrangement (all clumped together) and longer pedipalps. Recluse spiders have six eyes spread out in three groups of two. See recluse eye arrangement here:

I'm leaning toward Loxosceles
I'm leaning toward Loxosceles, based on the position of what I suspect is the reflection of an eye off the flash, the length and position of the second pair of legs, and the size and position of the palps.

More photos would definitely be helpful to fully verify though.

Long second pair of legs
Good point, you are probably right now that I look at that.
