Yes, a throscid
There are two eastern U.S. genera: Aulonothroscus and Trixagus, with a total of 19 species. The distinguishing characters are almost all ventral.

Aulonothroscus
has oblique grooves in the metasternum for the mid tarsi. Trixagus does not. I can't really make out the condition of the metasternum in the picture.
