Minute Pirate Bug - Orius vicinus

Minute Pirate Bug - Orius vicinus
Lacey (near Olympia), Thurston County, Washington, USA
May 16, 2009
Actually, is this some sort of bug rather than beetle??

Moved
Moved from Orius insidiosus.

Not an ID
I'm having a hard time with the angle, or the red eyes, or something. Half the time I'm thinking mirid.

was a very dark exposure
I had to lighten it up a bit to see the head clearly. Eyes did not look red before I lightened up the image...

Looks darn close to Scott's picture...
