Mayfly - Callibaetis ferrugineus - male

Mayfly - Callibaetis ferrugineus - Male
Puyallup, Pierce County, Washington, USA
May 18, 2009
Size: around 12 mm
I'm guessing small minnow mayfly?

Moved
Moved from Callibaetis.

Probably...
Callibaetis ferrugineus hageni. I suspect that your previous Callibaetis specimen is the same subspecies. This is the Western counterpart of C. ferrugineus ferrugineus. It has many synonyms and a variable appearance, especially in the imago.

Callibaetis, male subimago
Moved from Mayflies.
