Moth - Zanclognatha

Moth - Zanclognatha
Fort Bragg, Cumberland County, North Carolina, USA
August 7, 2005
A something angle moth? Looks close to curve-lined angle.

Moved
Moved from Zanclognatha.

Feathery legs, perhaps?
Do I see some feathery projections to the left of the head? Take a look at image #41505 and the comments. Maybe we have the same thing here. Do you have other photos of this specimen?

Too Worn to Be Sure, But it Might Be....
... 8347 - Dark Zanclognatha Moth - Zanclognatha obscuripennis

Zanclognatha for sure
and I also think that obscuripennis looks good, but like you say, the amount of wear makes me cautious. Image moved from Geometridae to genus page.
