Explanation of Names
Squamodera Nelson 1996. Sunk to subgenus of Acmaeodera by Davidson (2003).
Numbers
4 species, all found in the US (1).
Identification
Separated from other Nearctic Acmaeodera by the indistinct lateral margin of the pronotum, the ventral surface clothed in a dense tomentum of white scales, and the shortened ovipositor.
