Walnut "Blister" Mite
The walnut erineum mite, aka walnut blister mite, is Aceria erinea (Nalepa, 1891) not Aceria tristriata (Nalepa, 1890). Aceria striata forms a conical gall on the Juglans regia leaves; Aceria erinea forms pocket galls that contain dense erineum on the lower surface, and form a bulge on the upper surface of leaves of Juglans regia L.

Fixed
Thanks Jim, I've fixed the name. I hope you'll peruse the other images here; to my knowledge you're the first eriophyid specialist ever to leave a comment on a BugGuide image.

Moved
Moved from Aceria.
