Mesquite Thorn Hopper - Platycentrus acuticornis

Mesquite Thorn Hopper - Platycentrus acuticornis
French Creek, Bradshaw Mts., Yavapai County, Arizona, USA
May 24, 2009
Size: 6mm
I think this is Platycentrus based on a specimen I identified at U of Arizona collection years ago. Host is Prosopis velutina. Hopefully Dr. Hamilton can verify.

Moved
Moved from Treehoppers.

Platycentrus acuticornis
The only species of this genus in AZ, and the one with the longest horns!
