found on leaf of a small wild blackberry, perhaps Trogidae...

Neochlamisus
It's definitely a Chrysomelid, the enlarged penultimate 4th tarsomere eclipsing a small 5th tarsomere puts it there. Within Chrysomelidae, It's almost certainly in tribe Chlamisini, the warty leaf-beetles. I believe the genus Neochlamisus is closest, but there might be a better match that I don't know about.
