The move to ID Request was in error, but I'm glad you saw the post, Doug. I'm completely confused on this one. See:


Further, the Bug Guide Info page for Mythicomyiid states:
"Traditionally, this family has been considered a subfamily of Bombyliidae. At present there is disagreement between different systematists whether it should be considered a subfamily or a separate family."

So what should I do?
