Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Just moving this one back with the others from the same series -- sorry, I'm no help at all when it comes to the Mythicomyiid vs. Bombyliid debate.

Perfect. Thanks.
Didn't get to it as quickly as I'd first thought.

Moved from Apolysis.

Moved
Moved from Mythicomyiidae.

Why moved?
It *is* a Mythicomyiid, after all.

RE: Why moved?
The move to ID Request was in error, but I'm glad you saw the post, Doug. I'm completely confused on this one. See:

Further, the Bug Guide Info page for Mythicomyiid states:
"Traditionally, this family has been considered a subfamily of Bombyliidae. At present there is disagreement between different systematists whether it should be considered a subfamily or a separate family."

So what should I do?
